Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a famous American actor and singer. She is born in 1980 and is a Michigan native born and fostered by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) as well as Tom Bell (a TV news director). She is of Polish heritage (mother), and German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen discovered her passion for entertainment from a young stage of her life. She won her role as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after having attended her first audition. Bell's mother established her with an agent when she was thirteen, and she was subsequently cast in television advertisements for newspapers and commercials. Additionally, she began to take acting lessons privately. Bell was in a role of minor importance, uncredited for her part in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell took part in the Drama and Music Club in Shrine Catholic High School. She was cast as Dorothy in the school production in The Wizard of Oz. Bell attended an institution called the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City, where she studied Musical Theatre in New York City. In 2001, Bell quit her university in order to portray the character in the role of Becky in Tom Sawyer. Her first film credit in Pootie Tang in 2001. The scene however cut, and Bell's only role is the end credits. Bell was in the Broadway revival The Crucible starring Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
